“Before you capture the taste buds—you have to capture the eyes!”
One of the perks of studying near NTU is being surrounded by countless ramen shops. For a ramen lover like me, the essentials of a good bowl are simple: piping hot broth, chewy noodles, and—most importantly—a big, beautiful bowl.
A well-made cone-shaped bowl can make any ramen look ten times more delicious. Its wide rim lets all the toppings shine the instant the bowl is served—a crucial detail for ramen, where presentation and precision matter as much as flavor. The surface of the bowl is like a canvas: how you compose and arrange each element determines whether the dish captivates or disappoints.
Before the diner even tastes the rich broth, their eyes must already be hooked! Personally, I use this extra-large rustic cone bowl at home all the time. Even instant noodles look like a restaurant-grade meal—worth at least 20 USD a bowl!
